Road Signs Test

Malaysian road signs test — PSV practice

Twelve real sign boards, exactly the way they appear on Malaysian roads. Pick what each one means — the answer and explanation appear straight away, and the test moves to the next sign by itself after about a second and a half. Signs are the easiest marks in any assessment and the fastest safety win on the road: a professional driver reads them without thinking.

How Malaysian signs are organised

By shape and colour

Red circles prohibit — no entry, no U-turn, speed limits. Blue circles are mandatory — they order you to do something, like pass on the left. Yellow diamonds warn — bends, slippery surfaces, schools and signals ahead. Triangles give way. The red octagon always means stop.

By board colour

Direction boards are green on tolled expressways, blue on federal, state and municipal roads, and brown for tourist attractions. Most sign text is in Bahasa Melayu — learn the key words: Berhenti (stop), Beri Laluan (give way), Dilarang (prohibited), Awas (caution).
